Available Funding for STAR® Programmes
In several areas across the United Kingdom, local councils and industry training boards have made funding available designed to provide financial support for businesses to help them offset the cost of upskilling their workforce.
This funding enables local businesses to enroll their employees in the STAR® Manager programme which equips all line managers, leaders, or those aspiring to leadership roles with the essential skills needed to effectively manage people and empower their teams.

New Direction 50+ Skills Investment Fund:
Designed to support over 50s in gaining new knowledge and skills to help them progress within the workplace. This funding is available for the STAR® Manager programme, for any employee in the business aged over 50.
Warwickshire Skills Hub:
The Skills Escalator Fund gives businesses with less than 250 employees in the county the opportunity to apply to undertake the STAR® Manager Programme to support workforce development.

Designed to support all businesses in the South Yorkshire region to upskill managers, leaders and those aspiring to leadership roles.
Businesses with a staff size of 1-249 and an annual turnover less than £40 million will qualify for funding towards the STAR® Manager programme.
Businesses with 250+ staff and an annual turnover greater than £40 million will qualify for funding towards the STAR® Manager programme.

This grant has been designed to support employees in medium-sized construction businesses who are being developed or whose main job is leader, manager or supervisor to undertake further training to contribute to the future needs of the business.
It’s available to nationwide CITB registered businesses who wish to invest in the progression of employees who would like to complete the STAR® Manager programme.
