Duration: 6-9 Months
Time Commitment: 1 hour per week, scheduled when convenient for you
Who: Any leader or manager with direct responsibility for the development of their team
STAR® Manager Practitioner develops leaders’ personal leadership style to incorporate coaching-related behaviours into all their everyday conversations, then continues the learning to enable them to proactively develop their team… during 1-to-1s and via direct feedback.
Over the course of the programme, leaders will:
- Learn and embed the STAR® Model so that Operational Coaching® becomes their default leadership style
- Develop the ability to ask effective, thought-provoking questions that encourage ownership and insight

5 Stages to Success
We have a proven 5-stage blueprint to maximise your programme outcomes, which includes two pre-launch stages to ensure your programme is set up for success, followed by three post-launch stages to maintain engagement and momentum.
We’ll share our success playbook and the resources you can use as part of your pre-launch communications to ensure a smooth launch with engaged and excited learners. Our highly interactive launch sequence includes two live learner events for all learners, followed by ongoing learner support throughout.
Capturing RoI, Reporting, Reviews & Support
The STAR® Manager programme has 7 built-in methods of capturing success and return on investment. Notion provides monthly collated reports, sharing this data as it’s captured, alongside regular learner progress trackers, which you’ll receive more frequently.
The Mission Control Team proactively use these trackers to reach out and support individual learners as they work through the programme.
Whilst the 1-to-1 Executive Coaching is bespoke and fully confidential, we have a tried-and-tested reporting process in place that ensures that at the end of every coaching assignment, you’ll receive a separate report, per Leader, detailing the programme results.

We recommend leaders spend approximately 1-hour per week on the programme (for example, this could be 2 x 30-minute extended coffee breaks) with the aim of completing a module a week.
Working at this pace, STAR® Coach Practitioner can be completed in approximately 3-6 months, and STAR® Manager Practitioner can be completed in 6-9 months.
They will also need to allow time for their 1-to-1 Executive Coaching session
You can choose between 3 hours, 6 hours or 9 hours of virtual 1-to-1 coaching for leaders on the STAR® Leader programme.
We also offer strategic Executive Coaching for boards and senior leaders. This is a separate service, and we’re happy to talk to you about our corporate Executive Coaching packages if you’re looking for more formal, deep-dive strategic Executive Coaching.
We take all this admin away from you.
We’ll schedule a briefing call directly with the Leader, where we’ll deep dive into their objectives for the coaching, their current role and their preferred learning style. We’ll then use this to match them to the best-fit coach within our expert team.
We’ll schedule for them to meet their coach for an introductory call to agree on the programme objectives and check they’ll enjoy working together, and then the programme will commence.
If the Leader is unhappy after the intro call (this rarely happens), then we will match with another coach.
Internal stakeholders can also be involved in setting programme goals and objectives if required.

STAR® Leader has been designed for:

The programme is designed to capture a range of metrics and assessments naturally as you work through the programme, eliminating the need for any formal end-of-programme exams.
Throughout the programme, leaders will be invited to organically create evidence logs that demonstrate their application of the skills they’re learning and complete knowledge quizzes, which require a 70% pass rate. They are always given opportunities to re-review and re-take these quizzes if they don’t achieve these scores the first time.
As long as they diligently complete all modules and provide a minimum of three successes in your success tracker, they’ll automatically gain their Management Accreditation at the end.
Leaders can start their programme almost immediately. As soon as we receive their contact details, we will:
- Onboard them onto their chosen STAR® programme so they can log in to their programme dashboard and sign up to their STAR® launch event (run every week)
- Schedule a briefing call to discuss their Executive Coaching goals and objectives, and begin the coach matching process
