Dominic Ashley-Timms

Dominic is the CEO of Notion and a graduate ergonomist with an EMBA from IMD (Lausanne). After a top-tier consulting career running multimillion-dollar change programmes and training leaders in thirty-seven countries, Dominic now applies his passion for human-centred design to learning and behavioural change.

He has helped clients to improve their commercial performance with programmes that regularly generate returns many hundreds of times greater than the investment, all while delivering sustainable changes in organisational culture.

Dominic’s global career has given him deep insights into the levers of change that make the most difference. Unlike other suppliers in the development industry, he has been willing to subject Notion’s core approaches to the dispassionate and unblinking gaze of academic scrutiny.

Laura Ashley-Timms

Laura is the COO at Notion, the co-creator of the STAR® model and the STAR® Manager programme and co-author of The Answer is a Question. She is an expert and thought leader on how to leverage Operational Coaching® behaviours across organisations to drive commercial results and improve productivity and engagement levels.

Laura learned about the power of coaching from her early childhood career in international sports and began coaching others by the time she entered Oriel College, Oxford (as one of the first females to that college). She gained not only an MA (Oxon) but also an Extraordinary Full Blue.

With over thirty years of international business experience, living and working in the USA, Europe and Asia, Laura has a strong focus on pragmatism and results. She is the architect of many of Notion’s client programmes and is responsible for the outstanding quality of engagements. She has been recognised as one of the UK’s top executive coaches and as one of 40 Outstanding Global Women.

Matthew Syed

Matthew Syed is an author and highly acclaimed speaker in the field of high performance. He has written seven best-selling books on the subject of mindset and high performance – BounceBlack Box ThinkingRebel IdeasThe Greatest, and his celebrated children’s books, What Do You Think?You Are Awesome and Dare To Be You – and has worked with many leading organisations to build a mindset of continuous improvement.

He is also a multi-award-winning journalist for The Times and The Sunday Times and presenter of the popular BBC Radio 4 programme, Sideways, currently in its sixth series.

Matthew is a regular contributor to television and radio and, in his previous career, was the England table tennis number one for almost a decade.

Professor Martin Green

Professor Martin Green has had an extensive career in NGO development, nationally and internationally, and is Chief Executive of Care England, the largest representative body for independent social care services in the UK. He is also Chair of the International Longevity Centre, a Champion at the National Aids Trust, a Commissioner (Trustee) at the Royal Hospital Chelsea (Home of the Chelsea Pensioners) and a visiting Chair in Social Care at Buckinghamshire New University.

In 2008 he was named care personality of the year and was awarded an OBE for Services to Social Care in the 2012 Queen’s Birthday Honours List. In 2019 he was presented with the Health Investor Outstanding Contribution award.

Martin Green writes and broadcasts extensively on social care issues and is on the Editorial Board of Community Care Market News and Care Talk magazine.

Jillian MacLean MBE

Jillian is the founder and CEO of Drake & Morgan, an award-winning bar and restaurant group with landmark locations across London and Manchester.

Jillian has received several industry accolades for her work with Drake & Morgan, which she launched in 2008 and in 2013, she was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List, for services to the hospitality industry.

Jillian sits on the Boards of BAFTA 195 Piccadilly and the British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA) and is also on the Board of Trustees for The Drinks Trust – a charity organisation that provides supportive care and assistance to those working in the drinks industry.

Stuart Comer

Stuart’s career has spanned over 30 years, largely fulfilling senior Operational and HR leadership roles in a number of Retail businesses. Currently Director of Talent and People Development, Stuart is entering his 12th year at Sainsbury’s. He represents the business’ perspective on both the British Retail Consortium (BRC) and Institute of Grocery Distribution (IGD) HRD forums, where he has been an active member for over 8 years, contributing to and supporting the sector interests in both the Retail, and Food & Drink industries. Stuart is also a qualified Executive Coach, fulfilling both internal and external senior coaching assignments, whilst he has also held an advisory role on the Food & Drink Sector Council Workforce and Skills Group.

Outside of work, Stuart lives in Great Malvern in Worcestershire, with his wife Louise, his two teenagers James and Millie, as well as their 2 dogs. A passionate sports fan he spends most of his spare time supporting both children at their numerous sporting endeavours, as well as staying as active as his body will allow him!
