High Retention in the Age of Job Hugging – Risk or Strategic Advantage?

Gone are the days of The Great Resignation, where employees were leaving their jobs en masse to seek better opportunities.

Now, the workforce is ‘job-hugging’ – the growing trend where workers stay in a job longer than they normally would. In fact, in a massive turnaround, 75% of workers now say they plan to stay in their current roles through 2027.

To the C-Suite, this high retention might seem, on the surface, to be a positive, but is it really?
